Timo Grund joined Boston Consulting Group in October 2014. He is a core member of the Energy and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices, and he is also an expert in transactions and integration excellence. Timo focuses on the strategic and financial transformation of international energy companies.

Timo works with power and utilities clients on CFO excellence, strategy development, post-merger integration, and carve-outs. In his recent client engagements, he has worked on the planning and implementation of a large-scale transformation program for a major Middle East utility, including integrated planning, finance 2.0, and enterprise risk management; and on the definition of a new CFO agenda including a full finance transformation in multiple European utilities.

Timo collaborated on a book titled “Corporate Planning in the Digital Era,” which addresses company steering mechanisms in light of increasing pressures from market volatility, newly emerging competition, digital transformation, and rising uncertainty in decision making.

Before joining BCG, Timo worked in the office of the CFO at Siemens AG.
