Martin Högel joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. He specializes in operations, primarily procurement and supply chain management. He is a core member of the Operations and Industrial Goods practices and a member of the Energy and Principal Investors & Private Equity practices.

Martin has worked extensively with companies to help them realize more value out of their supply including sourcing and partnering strategies, cost reduction, and organizational efficacy and – most recently – digital. Additionally he has worked on supply chain and distribution, industrial scale-up, product cost optimization, and large capital project management.

Martin also has specific expertise at the intersection of operations and financial transactions. In this area, Martin has worked with corporates and private equity firms on pre-deal due diligence and preparation and post-acquisition operations integration and value creation.

Prior to joining BCG, Martin—as regional business leader—helped build two operations consulting businesses that were later acquired by Accenture and KPMG. Before that, he worked with Siemens Power Generation in engineering and commercial positions in Chile and Germany.
