When AI Gets a Board Seat

In a coauthored article for Harvard Business Review , BCG’s Martin Reeves outlines the benefits and drawbacks of integrating AI into executive boardrooms. While overreliance on the technology has risks, AI can prompt deeper thinking, surface new perspectives, and enable quicker action on follow-up items when used effectively by executive teams. “But for this to work, it needs a human (a critical thinker but not necessarily an industry expert) to operate the tool,” Reeves writes, emphasizing that AI can achieve greater success when combined with human skills.
