Defense Industry Giants Continue to Lead

In the Financial Times, BCG’s Diana Dimitrova discusses a BCG and Vertical Research Partners report projecting that complex weapons made by established defense giants will dominate over 80% of the market in 2033, despite the recent growth of cheaper mass-produced systems such as drones. Nonetheless, Dimitrova says that incumbents will still need to adapt and consider “where to compete and where to place their capital.”
