The need to go digital has perhaps never been as keenly felt until now. Businesses, which are more digitally savvy, have demonstrated that they are better able to manoeuvre in this uncertain time due to COVID-19. In addition, being (more) digitally matured has proven to better earnings, revealed a joint study undertaken by IMDA and BCG.
As digitalisation takes centre stage, businesses might want to tap on the generous support programmes offered by the government. "Now is the time to seize the opportunity to digitalise and set our businesses on the course for a rapid recovery", say BCG's Michael Tan and Michael Meyer.
