Through the Center for Illinois' Future, BCG’s experienced network of senior leaders demonstrates proven experience in the challenges Chicago and Illinois face in education, economic development, public safety, community development, and other vital issues. Here, we highlight a sampling of their experience and the philosophies that guide them.
The social impact projects that we do are, for me, some of our most important work. They affect matters that directly improve the lives of the adults and children in our communities.
I’m lucky and blessed to do a job that I’m passionate about—one that allows me to take BCG’s approach and apply it to the community I live in. At BCG, I strive to make the education system better, improve health care access, and shape the civic environment into something more collaborative and coordinated.
It’s really inspiring to see that when I give to the community, what I get back is so much greater. Even when it’s a long journey to get results, I get a lot of satisfaction from this work. It’s a fight that people have to keep fighting.
BCG has shown me how important business skills are in a nonprofit and public sector context. In our social impact work, BCG always takes on projects that are challenging and make a real difference.
I’m inspired by BCG’s work in education, transportation, and health care, which are sectors critical to overall well-being. I strive to bring the best of BCG to support passionate and talented leaders as they drive positive change in our neighborhoods, cities, states, and the world at large.
