Ferrante Benvenuti joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016 and is actively involved in the Energy practice. He has considerable experience working in upstream oil and gas, in particular, drilling, reservoir, and production optimization; and midstream (gas and LNG). He is one of the firm’s top experts in digital subsurface and drilling.
Ferrante has developed several AI applications in subsurface and drilling across the globe with IOCs and NOCs. In recent cases, he developed an E2E (end to end) AI solution to avoid wellbore instability problems for a major Middle Eastern NOC, as well as developing advanced analytics models and databases for supermajors in the Gulf of Mexico. He has led transformation and digital transformation efforts across the industry.
Prior to coming to BCG, Ferrante worked in an E&P company (Tecpetrol) as the planning and continuous improvement manager of a business unit responsible for several oil and gas fields in Argentina.
Experience curve effects will reduce the cost of carbon capture deployment. But for these projects to happen at scale, policymakers will need to take action.
La decarbonizzazione per l'industria è la sfida per creare un nuovo paradigma di innovazione che farà la differenza tra chi rimarrà attore protagonista e chi rischia di scomparire.
