Sana Rafiq is a behavioral economist and the leading expert for BeSmart, BCG's Behavioral Insights Initiative. In this role, she applies behavioral insights to help public and private sector organizations make sustained change.

In addition, as a core member of the Public Sector, Social Impact, and Health Care practices, Sana advises clients on transformational strategies, operational excellence, and change management. She also supports BCG’s work on global development and public health care systems.

Before joining the firm, Sana was a lecturer in behavioral economics at Harvard University and served as an economic analyst at the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the Analysis Group.
