Aaron Wilson is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer practice, with a particular focus on transformation, customer-centric merchandising, store operations, and overall retail strategy. He is BCG's retail lead for North America (the firm's largest retail group, a team of over 100 partners).

Aaron has experience in all aspects of retail, including merchandising, operations, and strategy. He has worked with clients around the world including in the US, the UK, and Canada, across multiple formats and retail channels. His areas of special expertise include merchandising strategy and sourcing across categories, merchandise analytics and tool deployment across topics (sourcing, space, commodity analysis), indirect (GNFR or goods not for resale) procurement across categories, overall strategy including omnichannel and format strategy, store operations including store labor and shrinkage, and transformation and M&A strategy.

Prior to joining BCG, Aaron worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and private equity at Och-Ziff Capital Management, advising clients and investing in a range of industries.
