Akihiro Kooka joined Boston Consulting Group in 2020. He is a core member of the firm’s Operations, Industrial Goods, and Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practices with a focus on transformation.

Akihiro has extensive experience in planning, supporting implementation, and realizing results for company-wide transformation and top-line improvements for a wide range of industries, especially for the manufacturing industry. He is particularly passionate about working with clients to address issues that directly lead to their corporate value creation through financial performance improvement, while understanding the culture of each client company. He has expertise in procurement cost reduction, logistics and supply chain reform, zero-based budgeting, and business process redesign.

Prior to joining BCG, Akihiro worked at Accenture and at A.T. Kearney.
