Alberto Pizcueta is a strategy lead for Boston Consulting Group with more than eight years’ experience in the infrastructure, transport, and cities (ITC) industry. Within the knowledge team, he leads the engineering and construction, and climate and sustainability work.

At BCG, Alberto has worked with public entities, governments, and private companies to design strategy plans based on market dynamics and trends, macroeconomic drivers, and industry reports. His projects have also included turnaround strategy, operations excellence, procurement strategy, and industry digitization. He co-leads the ESG and digital initiative for ITC, collaborating with the firm’s Public Sector and Energy practices on decarbonization and sustainability initiatives

He collaborated with the World Economic Forum on different market studies, including Infrastructure Resilience after COVID and Industry Supply Chain Decarbonization, as well as developing models to forecast the market based on raw market data on relevant factors, levers, and industry trends.

Prior to joining BCG Alberto worked for four years in the engineering and construction industry, during which time he worked on projects in Turkey, Canada, the US, Australia, Ireland, and Ecuador.
