Anna Pirhofer is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice, with a focus on growth and large-scale transformations. She has worked with TMT companies in more than 20 European, Asian, North American, and Latin American countries. Anna is a member of BCG’s global TMT leadership team and heads the firm's TMT people initiatives globally, including Women@TMT. In addition, Anna is a core member of the Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) practice and co-leads that practice for technology, media, and telecommunications in Europe.

Anna has advised some of the world’s leading telecommunication companies, media groups, pay TV operators, TV broadcasters, magazine and newspaper publishers, and private equity investors. Her passion and experience is in growth strategies, including corporate development and go-to-market, as well as large-scale transformation. She has conducted more than 30 corporate development projects for media, telecom, and software clients.

In 2017, Anna was a BCG Ambassador in Southeast Asia, working with TMT clients in Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Before joining BCG in 2012, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Media and Communication Management, University of St. Gallen, and gained experience as a journalist (Handelszeitung), a project leader (, and in digital marketing (RowohltVerlag).
