Charles Hosner is Boston Consulting Group’s lead for cybersecurity in the London, Amsterdam, and Brussels region. Charlie is a core member of BCG’s Digital, Technology & Data team, as well as the Industrial Goods and Energy practices. He is an expert in cybersecurity strategy and transformation for industrial clients.
Over his 30-year career, Charlie has covered the full spectrum of implementation, operations and advisory roles for some of the world’s largest organizations. He has served clients around the globe and in all market segments, with a particular focus on heavy industry, infrastructure, and energy. Charlie has built and led some of the world’s largest cyber transformation programs, and is passionate about helping organizations tackle the challenges of the modern digital world.
He is a recognized leader in supporting clients through large-scale destructive cyber attacks and ransomware incidents, having developed leading approaches to strengthening resilience, minimizing large-scale outages, and significantly reducing recovery times. Charlie is a veteran of many recovery efforts and is well-versed in techniques for helping organizations rebuild rapidly while preparing for future challenges.
Before joining the firm, Charlie was a Cyber Security Partner at Deloitte UK and a Partner for Risk Consulting and Global Leader of the Operational Technology Practice at KPMG.
