Christian Wagener is a core group member of the Industrial Goods (focusing on automotive, sustainable transport, and electrification) and Energy (especially power and utilities) practices at Boston Consulting Group, as well as the Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice. He joined BCG's Cologne office in 2006, transferred to Stockholm in 2017, and has led more than 60 projects.

Christian has extensive experience leading strategy development and transformation programs across the value chain for industrial and energy companies, with a focus on go-to-market, service, general and administrative expense efficiency, and restructuring. His functional expertise includes omnichannel B2C/B2B customer engagement and subscription business models. He has a deep interest in decarbonization and electrification, and is one of BCG's experts on sustainable mobility/transportation and related infrastructure, such as charging.
