Claus-Henning Brech

Claus Brech is a core member of the Data Science practice at Boston Consulting Group's BCG X tech build and design unit. He has spent over ten years building and deploying AI and digital solutions that transform supply chain operations—from planning and scheduling through real-time disruption management. He has worked with clients in industries including aviation, mining, energy, and manufacturing.

Claus is a member of the digital operations leadership team for the Asia Pacific region. He has particular experience in digital operations and AI/GenAI (reshaping processes and deploying AI-based tools at scale). In addition, he has practical experience and expertise in optimization, operations research, machine learning, and supply chain AI.

Before joining the firm, Claus worked at Technische Universität München as a lecturer in operations research and discrete event simulation.
