Daniel Baker

Daniel Baker leads Boston Consulting Group's World-Class Tech Function offer across Asia Pacific, and is an expert in BCG's Center for Digital Government. He works across BCG's Tech & Digital Advantage and Public Sector practices, advising clients on AI and digital strategy, technology transformation, and business cases for complex reform and growth programs.

Daniel has extensive experience helping organizations in defense, social services, and central government design and deliver large-scale technology transformations, modernize legacy technology ecosystems, and build investment cases for reform and growth programs. He advises clients across Australia and Asia Pacific on technology and digital strategy, bringing a practical focus on translating complex policy and regulatory environments into executable transformation programs.

Daniel also has specialist expertise in the aviation sector, with a particular focus on air traffic control including workforce strategy, operational transformation, and infrastructure investment. This work reflects his broader interest in safety-critical, operationally complex environments where technology modernization carries significant strategic and public interest consequences.

Prior to joining BCG, Daniel was a Senior Manager at Accenture in London and Sydney.
