Daniel Kessler leads the Swiss system of Boston Consulting Group. He joined the firm in January 2003 and is a core member of the Financial Institutions and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices. During 2006 and 2007, Daniel was based in the New York office.

In his work at BCG, Daniel has led several global large-scale transformation and post-merger integration projects and has worked with teams on strategy programs, client segmentation, offering and service model design, cost-cutting and reorganization, and redesign of corporate functions in Europe, the US, and Asia. Daniel also was BCG's global leader for wealth management and private banking from 2012 to 2017.

Daniel has partnered with financial institutions on many projects in the fields of banking, insurance, and wealth management, including a comprehensive wealth-management plan for a large Swiss private bank, a complex post-merger integration effort for a major wealth manager, and a segmentation approach and value proposition for the European affluent business of a global bank's private banking unit, among many others.
