Derek Wang is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice and an expert in services and commercial biopharma. His recent concentration has been at the intersection of life sciences, pharma services, and private equity. In addition, Derek has considerable expertise in residential and B2B services.

Derek has led multiple buy- and sell-side due diligences, portfolio acceleration initiatives, and exit support projects for clients in many industries. In pharma services, he has worked with both clinical and commercialization clients, including in medical communications, medical affairs, health care marketing, market access, and hub services.

Before coming to BCG, Derek worked at EY-Parthenon as a Case Team Leader.
