Dima Pogorelsky is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods practice with a focus on metals and mining as well as travel, cities, and infrastructure development and rail. Since he joined the firm in 2012, his client work has been primarily in large capex project management in a variety of different industries. He has at times been based outside the UK, mainly in Russia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Within large capex project management, Dima has expertise in the development of project management system, supporting large capital projects at different stages in many topics including cost estimating, schedule management, risk assessment, contracting strategy, negotiation, and value engineering. In addition, he has worked often with clients on procurement (operating model, category strategies, digital), organizational design, digitization of operations, and decarbonization issues.
