Dirk Cohausz is a core member of BCG X, Boston Consulting Group’s tech build and design unit. Dirk spearheads BCG X’s consumer-facing work in Central Europe and Nordics, as well as pushing the X.Ventures GenAI effort for that region.

At BCG X, and before that at BCG Digital Ventures, Dirk founds, manages, and establishes direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses. In addition, he designs ecosystems for consumer-facing products and services involving multiple parties. He has developed expertise in growth marketing and complex loyalty systems. He is an expert in sports tech and is committed to bringing fan engagement and community building in sports to the next level.

Before joining the firm, Dirk founded or co-founded several consumer goods and tech companies, ran a textile production plant in China, and worked for several years as full-time reporter and US correspondent for TV and newspapers.
