Elena de Juan Salgado is a core member of the Energy practice at Boston Consulting Group focusing on power generation operations, wholesale power markets, and the nuclear sector. She previously participated in a mobility program for six months with the Houston office Energy Hub.

Elena has a special interest in of digital power generation, wholesale power market modeling, quantitative models for investment decisions on power plants, and renewable integration in the power market.

In her work with global energy sector clients, Elena has worked on market assessments, benchmarking, and strategy, including development of proprietary data tools, models, and workshops, and their subsequent rollout.

Elena is a knowledge leader for the Generation Operations and Nuclear topics globally.
