Eunkyung Koh is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Insurance and Financial Institutions practices. Her expertise includes insurance and financial services, post-merger integration of Korean financial institutions and insurers, turnaround and transformation, and risk and compliance framework upgrades.
Since joining BCG, Eunkyung has led enterprise-wide business and operating model transformation projects for life and non-life insurers, including developing to-be business models and revenue structures, enhancing cost effectiveness and productivity for technical assistance/general agency channels and headquarters, and optimizing asset/liability management, product-customer-channel structures, and cost efficiency.
In addition, she has designed and implemented compliance frameworks for financial holding companies and affiliates, developed profitability and solvency improvement strategies, assessed acquisition feasibility for private equity funds, and supported integrated management of insurance subsidiaries. She has also developed digital health care platform strategies and customer targeting strategies for insurers.
