Fernando "Luna" Lunardini joined Boston Consulting Group in November 2020 to lead the retail work within the firm’s Consumer practice in Brazil. Luna brings more than 25 years of experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, and C-level executive positions. He dedicated the first part of his career to being a consultant for Accenture, Gemini, and finally McKinsey, where he worked for almost eight years co-leading the retail/consumer practice in Brazil. He spent the next five years as a key investor in and founder of a pet insurance startup.

Most recently, Luna worked as a C-level executive for two of the largest retailers in Brazil. He was CTO at Carrefour and President of Carrefour Property Division and later was involved as a key advisor in the acquisition of Walmart Brazil by Advent International where he led the turnaround program and became head of Sam’s Club operations.
