Florian Burgdorf is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Operations and Industrial Goods practice areas, with a focus on procurement, R&D, product costs, and warranty optimizations worldwide. He has substantial experience in transformations, both digital and conventional. Within Operations, Florian is a member of the Procurement leadership team.
Among his many procurement and R&D engagements, Florian recently transformed the central procurement function for a laser technology and machine tools company, developed a global procurement operating model for a leading chemical company, and optimized direct spend for a global automotive tier-1 supplier by supplier negotiations.
Before joining the firm, Florian worked in R&D and product lines for BMW.
