Hakim Hamane leads BCG Platinion in Africa. Platinion is Boston Consulting Group's division focused on large scale technology and digital transformations, as well as enablement of business-critical IT architecture and digital solutions. It is part of the firm's Tech & Digital Advantage practice.
Hakim has over 20 years' experience in technology-enabled transformations—from design to delivery. He specializes in IT modernization and digital transformations in industries including insurance, banking, telecom, and mining, and the public sector. Since joining BCG in January 2022, he has designed the IT transformation for a major telecom provider, led the digital transformation for a national social security in North Africa, and led the cybersecurity strategy for a major financial institution, among many other transformation engagements.
Before joining BCG, Hakim was mostly recently Executive VP Information Technology at Sanlam Morocco, and before that, was VP Head of Technology, Organization & Project Management Office at Cheikh Khalifa Foundation.
