Tristan Hoag coleads the Technology practice in North America for BCG Platinion and is member of The Boston Consulting Group’s executive team. A specialist in IT architecture, Tristan currently leads an IT cost-reduction initiative for a top global newspaper company. He is also supporting the restructuring of a major US bank's IT transformation program. 

At BCG Platinion, Tristan helps clients build modern data environments and integrate their existing IT landscapes, translate data strategies into realistic and actionable implementation plans, transition to modern data environments, and deliver in high-impact areas of big data projects. Tristan has led many architecture projects across industries as diverse as banking, food manufacturing, pharma, and shipbuilding. 

Tristan has acquired more than 25 years of experience. Before joining BCG Platinion, he was vice president of banking transformation at Discover Financial Services. He also worked for BCG in Chicago, where he focused on technology and growth strategy and transformation/PMI.
