Il-Dong Kwon is an expert on financial industries and the Vietnam market at Boston Consulting Group. He has recently focused on Vietnam market development, especially in the financial industry, and large-scale transformation programs. He also co-leads BCG’s work in risk management for the Asia Pacific region. 

For the last 16 years, Il-Dong has worked with more than 40 major financial institutions and regulators in Western Europe, the U.S., Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Korea, China, Vietnam, and many other Asian countries, on various consulting projects including multi-year transformations, digital banking, corporate and SME banking, affluent banking, strategy and business model development, KPI, organization redesign, process reengineering, risk management, and regulatory agenda. 

Prior to joining the firm, Il-Dong worked at Oliver Wyman as the Hong Kong office leader, Head of the Vietnam practice, and Co-head of the Risk & Management practice in North Asia and Greater China.
