Jens Elei

Jens Elei co-leads Boston Consulting Group's Tech & Digital Advantage practice for the energy industry in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA). An IT professional with management and business development experience, Jens is skilled in digital strategy and transformation, IT management, enterprise architecture, commodity trading, oil upstream, digital data platforms, big data and analytics, and AI, as well as agile tools and methodologies.

Currently, Jens is focused on driving agentic AI, specifically, agentic AI software development. He often works with power and gas, and oil and commodity clients. He is a member of the BCG Platinion Commodity Trading IT Consulting team and Commodity Trading Labs, and leads the IT topic in global BCG's commodity trading network.

Before joining the firm, Jens worked at Kalny Weilharter & Partner Management Consultants GmbH, Munich, and marchFIRST GmbH (formerly Mitchell Madison Group), in Frankfurt.
