Joerg Wiese leads worldwide operations for the Boston Consulting Group’s new upskilling business unit, BCG U. BCG U was developed to help clients upskill their talent with the help of the latest technology, scientific learning approaches, and a world-class faculty, achieving lasting transformative impact.

In his previous role, as BCG’s Group’s Chief of Staff for the Global Practices, he worked with the firm’s senior leadership to define strategic priorities and investment areas for the firm. Joerg has experience as a consultant in operations, organization, and finance topics within the public sector, including public-private partnerships and public debt management.

Before coming to BCG in 2006, Joerg was a principal consultant at Deloitte Consulting, a consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and a faculty member in public finance at the University of Cologne.
