Johannes Blauhuth is a core member of the Industrial Goods practice at Boston Consulting Group. He works primarily with European “hidden champions” on their transformations. He leads BCG’s Building Materials and Distribution teams in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA). He is also the Munich career development advisor.
Johannes works with his clients on all aspects of a transformation, including corporate and business strategy, organizational blueprints, transformation management office, commercial excellence, and cost reduction. He writes BCG’s Perspectives on the Construction Market Outlook in Europe and BCG’s Perspectives on Industrial Distribution, and was co-author of the "COVID-19 BCG Perspectives Series: Facts, scenarios, and actions for leaders."
Before coming to work at BCG in 2010, Johannes was an associate at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., and before that, he was assistant to senior management at Rolvering, Germann & Effing Unternehmensberatung PartG.
