Johannes Blümel joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015. As a member of the leadership team for Boston Consulting Group's Energy and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices, Johannes Blümel advises energy companies undergoing various types of transformations.
Johannes works with energy companies around the world to help them set themselves up for success in an evolving industry, with a focus on down- and midstream businesses. He has led assignments in strategy, operating model, M&A, integration, transformation, and commercial optimization across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. He has a deep knowledge of the European energy market and is an expert in commodity retail in the context of decarbonization.
In addition to his client work, Johannes served as partner and recruiting director for the Central Europe recruiting leadership team, responsible for visiting associates and other high potential talent.
