John Elder is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer practice, focusing primarily on advanced analytics as it relates to travel, tourism, and transportation. He has substantial global experience working with leading airlines, car rental companies, theme parks, hotels, and other travel providers. He is the lead for pricing in travel and tourism for North America.

John helps clients build and deploy customized or adjacent dynamic pricing solutions, and drive adoption and change management within teams. He is currently focused on helping client teams across travel industries design and leverage next-gen analytics solutions, as well as the new ways of working these tools, particularly in the context of a post pandemic recovery.

Prior to coming to BCG, John worked as a middle school math teacher with Teach for America.
