Jorge de Esteban is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Energy, Operations, and Strategy practices.

As a senior knowledge expert and member of the directors group leading the BCG center of knowledge and analytics, Jorge leads BCG’s global knowledge teams in the green energy and engineering sectors. Since joining BCG in 1999, he has supported dozens of projects in utilities, oil, equipment manufacturing, and private equity.

Jorge has helped numerous organizations create and implement strategies for green energy and renewables, and he has also helped numerous energy companies with due diligence and market analysis efforts. In addition, his work has covered regulatory frameworks, CO2-reduction strategies, and environmental impact assessments.

Jorge is a professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he focuses on engineering project management.

Prior to joining BCG, he worked as engineering project manager for a renewables developer in Spain.
