Julián Herman is a member of the Center for Digital Government at Boston Consulting Group, and head of the firm’s Platinion practice for Spanish-speaking South America. Platinion collaborates with colleagues in strategy consulting, digital ventures, and data science to bring strategic client decisions to life in complex environments and short time frames. 

Julián is responsible for setting up the Spanish speaking South America practice of Platinion by hiring and developing talented digital, agile, and IT consultants; solution architects; and engineers, to work with BCG’s key clients in financial services, TMT, energy, utilities, and consumer goods. 

Before joining BCG, Julián led the regional digital and strategy practices for EY Consulting, served as CDO for a leading media group, and was a Principal at Booz & Company, Chile. Julián is an active startup/venture accelerator advisor and a professor in the MBA and Master of Innovation programs at the Universidad Católica.
