Juliana Sguerra

Juliana Sguerra joined Boston Consulting Group in September 2019. She is a core member of the Financial Institutions and Insurance practices with over 20 years of consulting experience in those fields. Juliana formerly served as BCG's Bogota office leader and lead for North Latin America (Bogota, Lima, and Panama). She currently leads the Financial Institutions practice for Iberia and South America (ISA), as well as the firm's diversity and inclusion programs for Spanish-speaking South America (SSA).

Within the Financial Institutions and Insurance practices, Juliana´s work has recently focused on bionic distribution; agile; and the use of analytics across marketing, sales, risk, and operations. She also works with clients on digital and ecosystems in banking.

Juliana’s clients have included universal banks, capital markets, institutional and retail banks, and insurance companies, and her work with them has covered topics such as strategy, positioning analysis, resourcing and performance, risk and portfolio management, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Before joining the firm, Juliana held a number of positions at Oliver Wyman in New York and Colombia.
