Kirsten Xu is a core member of the Industrial Goods; Travel, Cities & Infrastructure; and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices at Boston Consulting Group. She leads the firm’s work in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the Nordics. Kirsten’s focus is on advancing DEI both internally at BCG and externally for clients.

She also works extensively on ESG (environmental, social, and governance) strategy for industrial goods clients, as well as value creation and growth strategy, and commercial transformation. In her recent client work, Kirsten developed a commercial excellence strategy for global biotech company, a biofuel sourcing strategy for a global transport and logistics company, a DEI strategy for a global industrial goods company (leading to several awards), and a 2030 strategy for a circular waste player with a fully closed loop of recycled consumer packaging materials.

Before joining BCG in 2013, Kirsten was a junior consultant at Qvartz+Co (now Bain).
