Kunal Jhanji is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice. He leads BCG's payments work across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America (EMESA) is a member of the firm’s Payments & Transaction Banking management team. He is also the global lead for the payments infrastructure segment and has worked extensively across digital assets, digital currencies, and embedded finance topics.
Within payments, Kunal has worked with many clients in all value chain components, and with market participants including acquirers, issuers, regulators, central banks, and tech providers. Recently, Kunal been leading most of the firm's work with central banks globally on topics including digital currencies and payments infrastructure.
With his fintech clients, Kunal is very active in the transactions and investors space as well as directly advising fintechs across a wide range of topics. He also works across retail and corporate banking in the UK, the US, and a number of European markets, on both strategic and operational/organizational topics.
Prior to joining BCG, Kunal was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, EY, and Deloitte.
