Larry Kamener is founder and former global leader of Boston Consulting Group’s Public Sector practice and former leader of the firm's Public Sector and Health Care practices in Australia and New Zealand. 

Since joining BCG in 1989, Larry has worked in the manufacturing, health care, government, retail, food processing, and mining industries on strategy development and organization redesign projects. 

In his client work, Larry is known for generating tangible impact in complex, sensitive stakeholder settings across a wide range of government agencies—including work in education, justice, health and welfare, energy, and sustainability.

Larry is the founder and chair of the Centre for Public Impact, a not-for-profit foundation established by BCG. 

Prior to joining BCG, Larry worked for the federal and Victorian Treasury Departments in Australia.
