Marc Wunderlich joined BCG Platinion in 2002. Platinion is division of Boston Consulting Group focused on leading digital and technology transformations, enterprise technology, and new and emerging technology offerings within and across industries. He is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Technology & Digital Advantage and Energy practices, and the node for technology and digital advantage in the Energy practice for Central Europe.

Marc has led a wide range of strategy engagements to help large and small utilities incumbents and new entrants rethink and reshape their digital and technology agendas to stay or become leaders in the energy transition. He goes beyond pure strategy to deliver the transformation that the strategy set out.

Marc's work over the past two decades has been marked by the constant change and innovation of the energy industry. The challenges of the past and the future of the energy industry cannot be met without the advances of digitization and technology which require new ideas, concepts, and ways of working.

Marc's projects have included shaping technology units for the future of the business, transforming technology platforms of power and gas utilities, launching a cloud-based platform for standardized operations of a renewable energy company, leading transaction and post-merger integration of technology units, managing large-scale technology programs for success, and creating joint technology journeys of corporations and startups.
