Marco Sperling is a member of the leadership teams for Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications as well as Principal Investor & Private Equity practices. He works with software and technology companies and private equity investors, focusing on transactions and strategic value creation.

Marco advises technology companies on their value creation strategies (including strategic M&A transactions, AI/data strategy, and operating model changes) and has led over 100 buy- and sell-side due diligences on software/SaaS assets In addition, he works for ERP (enterprise resource planning) and HRIS (human resources information) systems, as well as industrial software/SaaS vendors on growth and product strategy topics.

Marco has over 15 years' experience both as a consultant and as an operator. Prior to joining BCG, he held positions with McKinsey & Company, Rocket Internet SE in the UK (a venture development), and 7Commerce/7Ventures (growth investments for P7S1).
