Masaki Hamura joined Boston Consulting Group in 2020. He is a core member of the firm’s Technology Advantage practice and of DigitalBCG, a unit within BCG that specializes in digital, in Japan.

Masaki has experience working with a wide range of digital platform and telecom companies, leading company strategy and business. He has also worked with clients in a range of industries including consumer goods and retail, manufacturing (electronics and automobiles), financial institutions, and insurance companies, on digital transformation, innovation, new business strategy, and brand strategy. 

Prior to joining the firm, Masaki worked at LINE Corporation as an Executive Officer/VP of Corporate Business Strategy, PwC Digital Services as a Director & Experience Center Lead, Twitter Inc. as a Head of Brand Strategy for East Asia, SoftBank Corp as a GM of iPhone Business, and Google Japan as a Head of Strategy and Sales Operations.
