Masashi Tone joined Boston Consulting Group in 2014. He is a core member of BCG’s Tech & Digital Advantage, Financial Institutions, and Insurance practices.
Masashi has worked extensively with banks and insurance companies on IT and digital strategy topics that directly support business transformation. His focus areas include mid- to long-term IT strategies, legacy architecture modernization, renewal of core banking and enterprise systems, enterprise-wide application of AI and GenAI, as well as IT organization and governance reform.
Before joining the firm, Masashi worked as an IT architect at a global IT company.
