Masayuki Sekine

Masayuki Sekine joined Boston Consulting Group in 2011. He is a core member of the firm’s Public Sector, Technology, Media & Telecommunication, and Tech & Digital Advantage practices.

With an academic background in both business strategy and computational science, Masayuki possesses broad expertise across artificial intelligence—including GenAI—as well as deep technologies such as quantum computing. He has been extensively involved in shaping future visions and technology roadmaps and in supporting the implementation of advanced technologies. In recent years, he has focused on supporting the development of language and multimodal foundation models, general-purpose foundation models for robotics, and countermeasures against deepfakes.

Prior to joining BCG, Masayuki worked at Strategy&, formerly Booz & Company.
