Mate Gerecs came to The Boston Consulting Group in 2006. He is an ambassador at the BCG Henderson Institute, supporting Christophe Brognaux’s fellowship research on the transition of energy markets. He is a core member of BCG’s Global Energy practice and Operations practice, and his client work focuses primarily on the energy sector across the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Mate is accomplished in all elements of the gas and power value chains, and he has worked on projects in a wide variety of energy topics, including strategy, regulation, corporate development, operational efficiency, and investment optimization.

Before Mate became a member of BCG’s consulting team, he worked in the BCG Knowledge Group as an analyst focused on energy.
