Mikhail Nikomarov joined Boston Consulting Group in November 2024 bringing over 20 years of experience in energy and finance in Africa and globally. He cofounded Bushveld Energy, specializing in renewable energy and energy storage, and later also served on the executive committee for London-listed Bushveld Minerals. He is a member of BCG's Industrial Goods and Personal Investor & Private Equity (PIPE) practices.
Mikhail has extensive experience in energy project development, critical materials supply chain, and mining, and will be active in mining and PIPE projects at the firm. A former McKinsey Engagement Manager, Mikhail has also held leadership roles with industry associations—as Chair of the Energy Storage Committee of Vanitec, the global association of vanadium producers, and as Chairman of the South Africa Energy Storage Association.
