As a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer practice, Mikko Saastamoinen is a transformation specialist in retail and consumer goods. He recently led transformations for a European meat and poultry player, a Nordic consumer electronics retailer, a European substrate company, and a global consumer packaged goods durables company. He also led the turnaround of a department store chain and a major acquisition in E2E in Nordic retail.
During these transformations Mikko led teams covering a wide range of different topics, including operating model and organization, procurement, manufacturing and supply chain, digital and IT, pricing and net revenue management, sales management and commercial excellence, ecommerce, and in-store execution.
