Nicolas Tanaka is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Tech & Digital Advantage practice and part of the BCG Platinion management team. Platinion is the firm's division focused on the development, implementation, and enablement of business-critical IT architecture and digital solutions. He is currently the North America lead for Technology Advisory and Delivery, and leads the firm's work in enterprise planning.
Nicolas is a global technology and data expert with 20 years of experience in the technology space, helping Fortune 100 enterprises modernize how they operate, compete, and grow through technology, AI, and data. He leads large-scale AI, digital, and data transformations that unlock measurable value (often in the hundreds of millions of dollars) while guiding CEOs, CIOs, and CTOs through complex change. He has worked with clients in high tech, manufacturing, and financial services to design technology operating models, scale AI and data platforms, and establish governance frameworks for sustainable digital performance.
Nicolas is currently focused on end-to-end design and implementation of agentic AI and data platforms to support use cases in finance, supply chain/operations, and sales. Before joining the firm, Nicolas worked at Accenture and Fleishman-Hillard Japan.
