Ricardo Serra is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Transform practice in Brazil. Transform is BCG's transformation and turnaround unit that works with clients to design, plan, and implement large-scale change programs. He specializes in working with financial institutions and insurance companies, mostly on topics related to transformation, turnaround, corporate strategy, and cost efficiency/transformation.
In his recent work, Ricardo led the largest transformation program in South America for a large public banking conglomerate, repositioning its strategy and organization toward value creation, growth, and new business ventures. He also contributed to its product portfolio review and efficiency program, designing and implementing a multi-year journey with the client.
Prior to joining BCG, Ricardo worked at Roland Berger in its Transformation practice, and in investment banking at Itau BBA.
