Sebastian Hagen is director of IT architecture for BCG Platinion. He is a member of BCG Platinion's Financial Institutions core group and part of Boston Consulting Group's core Technology Modernization team in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA) with a strong focus on modernization of legacy core systems.
Sebastian is responsible for defining BCG's offerings on GenAI-assisted core modernization in financial institutions. He has experience in recovery, selection, and implementation of core banking solutions, and is accredited as an analyst. He has worked extensively with regional banks, universal banks, and neobanks, as well as other financial institutions.
Sebastian previously worked as Research Associate at HP Laboratories Bristol (UK) and as IBM Extreme Blue Summer Intern at IBM Germany.
