Sebastian Heimbach serves clients as a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Industrial Goods practice, with a focus on greentech, machinery, and automation.

Since joining BCG in 2011, Sebastian has helped clients build platforms for profitable growth and innovation from strategy to implementation, covering new digital and green business models, product development acceleration, service optimization, and large scale operational excellence programs including agile at scale. He also acted as interim program manager for a leading global industrial goods conglomerate that sought to fundamentally change the way it innovated with customers. He has led transformations for organizations from family-owned businesses to global industrial goods conglomerates.

Sebastian is people lead for the firm's work in greentech and engineered products for Central Europe, and played a crucial role in bringing BCG's Digital Technology Center/Digital Builders Showroom concept to life.

He is also a co-founder and supervisory board member of ING+, a startup that drives the digitization of infrastructure planning and management.
